The Initial Public Offering of Platform Turizm Taşımacılık Gıda İnşaat Temizlik Hizmetleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has been completed. Shares offered to the public listed on BIST STARS with a base price of 9.10 TL, the ticker code “PLTUR” and the continuous trading method.
In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Platform Turizm at our Exchange.
With the high IPO demand, Platform Turizm launched an outstanding IPO with a total IPO amount of 450 million TL and a sale to 630 thousand investors. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone who contributed to this outstanding IPO.
The 630 thousand new stakeholders who have joined the company add strength and increase the responsibility of the company undoubtedly. However, what is the responsibility of these new stakeholders, that is, investors themselves? We expect all our investors, especially new investors, and above all, our young investors, to improve their financial literacy and invest with a partnership culture. Why is this important? It is due to the fact that the number of our investor has reached 3.4 million today, while it was 1.2 million two years ago. In 2022 alone, the number of investors who bought equities for the first time exceeded 1 million people. About one-third of these new investors are in their twenties, one-third are in their thirties, and the remaining one-third are in other age groups. Therefore, it is of utmost importance for our young investors who have just come to the capital markets to improve their financial literacy.
