Borsa İstanbul Review approved by Scopus

Having positioned itself as Turkey’s most prestigious international finance magazine thanks to its uncompromising approach as well as the radical editorial changes aimed at increased scientific quality, Borsa İstanbul Review marches toward becoming a globally prestigious international finance magazine.

Borsa İstanbul Review’s application to Scopus has been approved. This step completes an important phase prior to the application to be filed for inclusion in the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI).

Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Scopus are defined as the leading indexing and bibliographic database systems for academic publications in social sciences, covering economy and finance. Being indexed in these database systems is an important indicator for the prestige of academic publications, and only academic journals that fulfill the strict criteria are included in these databases.

Prepared by Borsa İstanbul Research and Business Development Unit, Borsa İstanbul Review aims at creating an academic platform that includes empirical, financial and economic analyses.
