Borsa İstanbul Continues Its Efforts on Promoting Public Offering

The last of the series of meetings on initial public offering and the opportunities offered by Borsa İstanbul was held jointly with the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) Metal and Mining Sector Board at MÜSİAD headquarters on May 22, 2014. Keynote speeches were delivered by Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) Metal and Mining Sector Board Chairman Fatih Keçebir and Borsa İstanbul Marketing and Sales Director Serhat Görgün.

Following the keynote speeches, Borsa İstanbul Marketing Service Manager Mert Süzgen delivered a presentation on financing through the capital markets by public offering while Aktifbank Capital Markets Group Division Head Koray Tahtakılıç informed the members of MÜSİAD Metal and Mining Sector on “Financing through Lease Certificates (sukuk)”, a recently fast developing method of Islamic finance.
