Kayseri based TE-MAPOL Polimer Plastik ve İnşaat Ticaret Sanayi A.Ş., active in the polymer plastic sheet production sector since its establishment in 2007, started to be traded on Borsa İstanbul Emerging Companies Market with the participation of Borsa İstanbul Executive Vice President Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez and TE-MAPOL CEO İbrahim Samancı on December 16, 2013.
TE-MAPOL Polimer Plastik ve İnşaat Ticaret Sanayi A.Ş. started being traded at a price of ¨ 6.62, with the ticker code, “TMPOL”.. 23.8 percent of the Company’s capital was offered to the public.

Borsa İstanbul Executive Vice President Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez said at the ceremony, “With the IPO of TE-MAPOL, the number of companies traded on Borsa İstanbul has reached 422.”
Dr. Dönmez went on to say, “We wish success to TE-MAPOL as they grow by continuing to invest in the polymer plastic sheet manufacturing sector. On this occasion, we invite other companies to benefit from the advantages offered by the capital markets.”
IPO revenue will be used for new investments
TE-MAPOL CEO İbrahim Samancı stated that, in 2012, the Company’s production reached 4,000 tons, with a turnover of 21 million and a
2 million EBITDA, and their targets for 2013 are a
25 million turnover and
2.5 million EBITDA.
“We need capital in order to increase our operational efficiency and meet domestic and foreign demand. We will continue to grow faster with the support of investors. All proceeds from the IPO will be used for strengthening working capital and executing new investment plans.” İbrahim Samancı said.
TE-MAPOL began activity in 2007 at Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, producing polymer plastic sheets as a key input particularly for the automotive, bathroom, furniture, medical, white goods and outdoor advertising sectors.
