The Initial Public Offering of Panelsan Çatı Cephe Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has been completed. Shares offered to the public will be listed in the BIST MAIN with the ticker code “PNLSN.E”  and the continuous trading method.

In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Panelsan to our Exchange.

The Initial Public Offering of Panelsan marks the first IPO of the year 2022. I believe that we have made a good start to the IPOs of 2022 with Panelsan. As Borsa İstanbul, 2021 ended with records for us. In 2021, Borsa İstanbul hit record in the number of IPOs with 52 companies. The previous record was in 1990 with 35 companies. We have set records in the number of companies launching an IPO, the number of investors and market trading volumes. I wish we have a similarly plentiful year in 2022.

I would like to express our happiness to welcome Panelsan, a large industrial enterprise, to our Exchange. Panelsan will gain significant momentum in its growth as the company will use the resources provided through the IPO in investments that will contribute to its production and export. I firmly believe that Panelsan will become a global brand thanks to this growth.

Panelsan launched an outstanding IPO with the high demand it received. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone, the employees of the company and the intermediary institution as they have contributed to this successful IPO process that was realized with a total amount of 214 million TL to approximately 42 thousand investors.
