The Initial Public Offering of Hitit Bilgisayar has been completed. Shares offered to the public will be listed on BIST STARS with the ticker code “HTTBT” .

In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Hitit Bilgisayar at our Exchange.

Exporting technology services constitutes a significant part of the revenues of Hitit Bilgisayar. It has been a remarkable step for the company that will further strengthen the corporate structure, as the company launched an IPO and started to be traded on the Stock Exchange. The production of software needs of our companies with domestic resources provides a significant advantage to our country in global competition. Thus, improving technology-oriented R&D studies is of great importance.

Hence, as Stock Exchanges, we are not just financial structures, we are also technology companies. Technology and innovation constitute the most important element of the strategies of the Stock Exchanges. We continue to develop our BISTECH technology system with domestic resources. We offer investors a faster and more efficient market opportunity. We develop new products in the field of financial technology with our R&D centre.

Within the framework of the agreement we signed with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, we started to provide implementation and consultancy services in the field of technology. Furthermore, we also utilize the opportunities to export technology services to other exchanges. As Borsa İstanbul, we aim to grow in technology service exports, similar to the distinguished technology companies of our country, such as Hitit Bilgisayar.
