The Initial Public Offering of Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. has been completed. Shares offered to the public will be listed on BIST MAIN with a base price of 10 TL, the ticker code “TERA” and the continuous trading method as of December 22, 2022

In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

“Distinguished guests,

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Tera Yatırım at our Exchange.

We are gathered here today for the IPO of an intermediary institution that is our stakeholder and business partner. Since 1990, Tera Yatırım has been providing services to its customers in our capital markets. The company acts as an intermediary for our investors to plan their savings. It provides assistance in the IPO process of companies. Today, Tera Yatırım launches its own IPO.

With the high IPO demand, Tera Yatırım launched an outstanding IPO with a total IPO amount of 165 million TL and a sale to 354 thousand investors.

We have seen a significant increase in the number of new investors this year. One of the most important responsibilities of our stock exchange and intermediary institutions is to increase financial literacy activities for new investors. To this end, we have opened the conference room of Borsa İstanbul to intermediary institutions. At Borsa İstanbul, they can organize training, conferences and panels for their customers.
