In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Hat-San Shipyard at our Exchange.

Hat-San Shipyard maintains its activities in a wide range of sectors with great success. The company particularly distinguishes itself with its capacity expansion, investments and exports. We are more than glad to see this outstanding company in the Borsa İstanbul family.

As Borsa İstanbul, we will continue to support the growth of our country and our companies. Within this context, we would like to take this opportunity to invite primarily industrial companies that are not traded on our Exchange to finance their investments through capital markets. In this sense, Hat-San Shipyard sets a good example for companies that are not listed on Borsa İstanbul.

Hat-San launched an outstanding IPO with a size of approximately 1 billion TL and 3.7 million investors. I would like to extend my thanks to everyone who contributed to this successful IPO process, all company employees and the intermediary institution.
