Within the framework of the Statistical, Economical and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), Borsa İstanbul Research and Business Development Department organized a two-day seminar entitled “Investor and Financial Community Awareness” in Brunei Darussalam on May 25-26, 2015. The seminar was delivered by Evren Arık, Senior Specialist at Borsa İstanbul Research and Business Development Department. Borsa İstanbul’s experiences were shared with the participants from Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam, who have been working on the establishment of stock exchange, and the other finance institutions of the country. The seminar covers various topics including exchange-traded products, market structure mechanisms, trends in the exchange industry, investing basics, and volatility.
