After Single Stock Futures Contracts, İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. becomes a Market Maker for Options Contracts on BIST 30 Index as well.

İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., operating as market maker for Single Stock Futures Contracts traded on Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) continues to operate as market maker with the new market making model based on income sharing. İş Yatırım is also a market maker for Options Contracts on BIST 30 Index, and has been the first market maker for Options Contracts on Index.

In the Income Sharing Model, market maker institutions are entitled to receive a share of the fees charged by Borsa İstanbul, subject to fulfilling their obligations. This model is expected to increase the number of market maker institutions.

Market makers are institutions which give and realize buy and sell quotations in line with quantity and volume requirements; contributing to increasing the market liquidity for VIOP contracts within the framework of VIOP’s current rules.
