The Gong Rang for “Yayla Enerji” in Borsa İstanbul
Yayla Enerji offered 26.74% of its capital to the public and started being traded with “YAYLA” ticker code on Friday, November 22, 2013.
Yayla Enerji, mainly focused on the construction field at the time it was founded, but now is getting ready to sing under important projects in tourism and renewable energy areas in the near future. The company has already phased out some of the major projects in Turkey such as Çınarcık Dam, Gaziantep Burç Pond and Çatalağzı Thermal Power Plant Ash Dam.
Starting to trade at a price of TL 4.80 with “YAYLA” ticker code, Yayla Enerji’s shares of a total nominal value of TL 2,500,000 has sold out. Yayla Enerji raised funds totaling TL 12 million from the public offering, and increased its capital to TL 36 million.
Borsa İstanbul Executive Vice President Dr. Aydın Seyman said; “By Yayla Enerji’s public offering, the number of companies traded on Borsa İstanbul has reached 420.” He also said; “In 2013, 9 and 8 companies started being traded on, respectively, the Equity Market and Emerging Companies Market, raising funds of approximately TL 4.6 billion”. Seyman also mentioned that 9 companies applied for being traded on the Equity Market, and 7, on the Emerging Companies Market. Seyman wished success for Yayla Enerji in expanding its investments in the construction, tourism and energy sectors and closed his speech by saying; “Hereby, we invite all companies to benefit from the advantages that the capital markets present”.
Vice Chairman of the Board of Yayla Enerji Mehmet Yayla thanked the Capital Markets Board and Borsa İstanbul for their support and constructive approach. Yayla gave information about how they will proceed with the company structure in the future, by making use of the company’s half century experience as the third generation.
Yayla said that the company’s upcoming investment project is to make Kayseri, Mountain Erciyes the Davos of Turkey. He said that the project consists 25 different facilities and the largest investor Yayla Enerji owns 5 (4 Resorts and 1 Excursion facility) of them. The total investment will amount to TL 60 million. The company is planning to invest in another project on summer tourism, on the company’s land in Çeşme. He closed his speech by saying; “With the fund raised through the public offering, Yayla Inc. would like to invigorate its financial structure, to manufacture for the Turkey’s economy and will keep working for the future.”
