Futures contracts based on the BIST Sustainability 25 Index were launched on Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) on January 13, 2023. Thanks to the futures contracts based on the BIST Sustainability 25 Index, which includes the shares of companies with high sustainability performance and traded on Borsa İstanbul, investors have a new financial product that will provide them to distinguish companies that adopt sustainability and corporate social responsibility principles and to invest in these companies. This new index contract, which has the same features as the existing index contracts and to which Takasbank will provide Central Counterparty service, will be terminated with a cash settlement at the end of maturity of the relevant contracts.

With the BIST Sustainability 25 Index, which was launched as of November 21, 2022, it is aimed to create an index consisting of large and liquid companies with high sustainability performance.
