Public Offering Index

It consists of the shares of companies that started to be traded in the Star Market, Main Market and Emerging Enterprises Market, they are included in the BIST IPO Index and remain under the index for 2 years.

If the number of companies covered by the index falls below 5, the expired company will remain in scope until a new company is included in the index. According to this exception, companies that remain under the index are excluded from the index in turn, taking into account the waiting times when a new company is included in the index.

A company that is covered by the BIST IPO Index is excluded from the index to be valid on the first business day of the 25th month following the date of its trading.

As of 02.12.2013, 20% weight limit has been applied in BIST IPO. Accordingly, if there is a change in the scope of the index, the weights of the shares within the scope of the index are controlled without restriction, and if there is a share exceeding 20%, the weight is reduced to 20%.
