Borsa İstanbul’s Bell rings for “Lider Faktoring”

Lider Faktoring’s B group registered shares of a total nominal value of TL 4.5 million were offered to the public at a price of TL 3. The Company started being traded on Borsa İstanbul’s Second National Market with the ticker code "LIDFA".

Lider Faktoring, a leading company of the Turkish factoring sector with a history of twenty-one years, 26 branches, and 180 staff, serves over 22,000 Small and Medium Sized Companies for financing domestic receivables. On the occasion of the Company’s public offering, a bell-ringing ceremony was held at Borsa İstanbul. The Company started being traded on the Second National Market.

Borsa İstanbul Executive Vice President Mustafa Kemal Yılmaz and Lider Faktoring General Manager and Board Member Can Güney participated in the ceremony.

In his speech at the ceremony, Borsa İstanbul Executive Vice President Mustafa Kemal Yılmaz said, “With Lider Faktoring, we are holding the eighth bell-ringing ceremony this year. Factoring companies have shown increased interest in the capital markets in the last couple of years. This interest is also evident in debt securities issues. While offering the opportunities of the capital markets to small and medium sized companies, if we can also attract those companies that serve them to the capital markets, the synergy so created will increase the funds raised for the Turkish economy. Therefore, I believe that the public offering of Lider Faktoring is very important”.

Indicating that Lider Faktoring has given prority to sustainability, institutionalization and growth in every step it has taken in its history of 21 years, General Manager and Board Member Can Güney went on to say, “Being traded on Borsa İstanbul is a milestone for Lider Faktoring.
